St. Mary's Cemetery
In the early days of St. Mary's Parish, land was donated for a church cemetery in Section 24 of Greenville Township.
Interments were probably made in the cemetery when the land was first donated, but the earliest tombstone inscription found reads:
Anthony Sucher
son of B. & P.
died August, 1845
aged 1 year 6 months and 28 days
A highlight in the cemetery is the marble statuary. The sculpture depicts Christ on the Cross and the Bible passage of St. John, Chapter 19, Verse 25, "There stood Mary, Mother of Jesus, Mary, wife of Cleophas, and Mary Magdalene." An angel with a trumpet has been placed on either side of the three women.

The cemetery provides a calming atmosphere to walk, mediate, pray and thank God for the day.
