Pro-Life Club
(St. Marys LIFEGUARDS)

This club meets twice a month in Miss Hess' room and is open to grades 5-8.

Our mission statement is to educate people about the greatest holocaust occurring in America right now, that of the unborn.  We hope to be a voice for our generation, past generations, and those to come whose voices will never be heard and have been silenced by the tragedy of abortion and euthanasia.

Members of the club who have chosen to stand up for life include Ben Fitzgerald, Collin Jennings, Katelyn Livingston, Cody Sutherland, Jeff Wirrig, Hannah Aulbach, Jose' Badell, Alexis Kreusch, Peter Pandey, Joe Aulbach, Lauren Flory, Sajoel Hauberg and Paige Kreusch.  Miss Hess is the advisor.

The goal of the Endangered Animals Club, under the advisement of Mrs. Pierri, is to adopt up to six endangered animals this year. The club has voted to adopt a Giant Panda and Snow Leopard first, then will select four more animals at a later date. They meet after school on the first and third Monday of each month. President Molly and Secretary Hayley are working diligently to organize fundraisers to pay for animal sponsorship.

Update

To date, the Endangered Animals Club has adopted one Giant Panda named Whiskbam, one Snow Leopard named Snowy, one Barn Owl named Alaska Lilian and one Polar Bear named Annie. The next goal of the club is to adopt one Cheetah and one Red Panda.

The Endangered Animals Club has added the following animals to its adoption list: Willie the Orca whale, Brookelyn the tiger, Rex the Rhino and Lola the Mekong Dolphin.
