Steve and I moved here from Dayton in 1972. I started coordinating the Religion Program in1980. We have six sons who attended and graduated from St. Mary's School. During our time in Greenville, I have earned my Lay Pastoral Minister's Certificate from the diocese and a Bachelor's Degree in Pastoral Ministry from Mount St. Joseph in Cincinnati. I was Director of Religious Ed here at St. Mary's for 35 years. I am presently part-time Pastoral Associate, leading the R.C.I.A. Program for people interested in becoming Catholic, leading Adult Faith Formation and Education (Bible Studies, etc.), and working with those persons who are in need of an annulment. I also give support to our pastor. I enjoy very much sharing my Faith and giving others support and encouragement.
I have felt called to work with God’s people since I was in college. Born (in Connecticut) and raised (in California) a Catholic, I moved to the Midwest for graduate school where I fell in love with the weather and my husband.
My educational background is in theology (University of Notre Dame, MA), philosophy and mathematics (University of California, Berkeley, BA) with additional graduate coursework in the Old Testament, the New Testament, and the liturgy.
I have been a parish member since the early 2000s and have worked with PSR almost since the beginning. I am so blessed to work with Father White and our parish team at Saint Mary’s Parish. As the Director of Religious Education, contact me with questions about faith formation for your children.
I've been attending St. Mary's off and on since I was in high school. I got married in this church to my husband Jeff in 1984. I finally converted and became Catholic in 1997 with the help of Father Kist and Father Trick. I have volunteered with PSR, Vacation Bible School, Rosary Altar Society and more. I have three grown children, a granddaughter and another grandbaby on the way. I joined the staff as secretary in 2012 after working as a youth program director at the YMCA. Every day I wear a lot of hats and this job can be a challenge to keep it all flowing, but I really love it and am happy to serve the parish in any way I can.
I joined St. Mary's church in 1992 when Steve and I were married (Fr. Kist performed the ceremony). I have three adult children who all attended St. Mary's school from k-8th grade. I have volunteered with Glory for 8 years and in the Youth Minister position for 1. I have worked for Darke Co. Board of Developmental Disabilities for 12 years. Before that was home with the kids. I love to read. Mexican food is my favorite and if I could do whatever I wanted I would travel and see new places, meet new people and see how others live. It seems I have immersed myself in this age group all the way around as my caseload is supporting children ages 14 to HS graduation and their families. :) I enjoy this age group very much.

He's been married to Grace for 32 years. They have 2 grown children. They have been members of St. Mary's church since 1994.
